The Contract Management Unit provides support to the Regional Plan Review Sections by developing and administering contracts for plan review services. This Unit:

• Initiates "Requests for Qualifications" (RFQ's) for contracting out the review of plans submitted to the Office.
• Evaluates "Statement of Qualifications" (SOQ) submitted in response to the RFQ.
• Conducts interviews of selected consultants based upon the SOQ and ranks qualified consultants.
• Negotiates with the plan review contract firm and initiates assignment of contract.
• Reviews and supervises Contractor's assigned work.
• Represents the Office on all issues related to the contracted work.
