Pivot Profiles

Excel Pivot Profiles on this site are interactive tables that can be used to quickly summarize large amounts of data in a custom report or chart. Graphs are included on the more current pivot profiles for comparison of all conditions, a specific condition, and population depending on the users selections.

To use the pivot files after downloading:

• Select your variables on the pivot worksheet
• Choose a specific facility/county, or
• Create a custom aggregation
• Choose the "Profile" or "Charts" worksheet to view the report results.
• Each profile is available for print on one to three pages.

Note: Avoid changing the worksheets as they contain many links, formulas and custom formats. (requires MS Excel)

On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) Cube

An OLAP cube provides only the summarized results to your reports, instead of a large number of individual records, so that you can analyze a larger amount of data than your system's resources could otherwise handle.
